I just started felting a pair of knit slippers for myself.
One is felted the other isn't.. dramatic size difference!
They are a ladies size large (8-1/2 to 9). The unfelted one was too big for my size 13 foot husband!
I am going to buy some puff paint for the soles to make them non-slip.

Putting puff paint on the bottom is a great idea! I never would have thought of it. Did you see the super cute ballet slippers on the knitty mag winter 06 issue? I wanted to make them just for wear around the house, I'll have to put the puffy paints on the bottom too! Thanks!! Oh here's the url for the ballet slippers:

I'm working on Fuzzy Feet from Knitty. Puffy paint is a great idea! I thought my Grandma would enjoy warm slippers but she's so unsteady on her feet.
