New Pet!
I got a new pet! My dear friend, Carol, gave me a cockatiel. We kinda determined that it is a female of the Pearl variety so I named her Purl! She is still getting used to me. She keeps me company as I have someone to talk at... LOL

You have been busy. Do you like knitting 2 socks on 2 circulars at the same time? It looks confusing.
You too, huh? Join the club! My DH and son gave me a kitten the other day - I don't think I was really ready for another cat just yet, but what can I do? Only problem is, I can't for the life of me come up with a good name! Go check out the picture on my blog and see what you think. Your new cockatiel is beautiful and of course, I love the name!

Cockatiels are fun! We have one with us named Cookie and her cagemate, Lemonade, who is a yellow budgie. They live near the computer desk and are great company into the night. We've got 4 cats and they pay no attention to the birds. Enjoy her!
